# Overview

Ownership DLC for Advanced Store — players buy a shop, hire staff, set prices, restock, run supply missions and follow the money on a real dashboard.

**Advanced Player Store** turns the shops from [Advanced Store](/royals-store-docs/documentation/advanced-store/advanced-store.md) into a business a player can buy and run: purchase a store, hire employees, set prices, restock, run supply missions, hand out coupons and gift cards, and follow the money on a dashboard built from real transaction data.

**Current version:** `1.4.1`

{% hint style="danger" %}
This is a **DLC**. `Advanced_Store` must be installed and started — it provides the shared NUI, the framework bridge and the product catalog.

## What it adds

| | |
| ------------------------ | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Buyable stores** | a store for sale shows a floating `$` marker; any player can walk up and buy it |
| **Boss menu** | seven tabs, filtered by permission, at the store's management point |
| **Employees** | hire, fire, grade and salary, with three built-in roles |
| **Stock** | real stock per product, low-stock indicators, custom sale prices |
| **Supply runs** | a van spawns, the employee buys wholesale and brings goods back as real items |
| **Coupons & gift cards** | owner-created promo codes and prepaid credit |
| **Dashboard** | treasury curve, month-over-month KPIs, top products, payment split |
| **Zero-sum robbery** | what a robber takes is debited from the store's own account |

## Autonomous mode

You do not have to make stores player-owned. With `Config.PlayerStores = false`, every DLC store is **autonomous**: NPC-run, infinite stock, no owner. Useful for a mixed economy where some shops are corporate and some are player businesses.

## How the money works

Three providers, set in `Config.Money.provider`:

| Provider | Behaviour |
| ------------------------ | ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| `'auto'` *(recommended)* | uses `Rs_Banking` if it is started, otherwise standalone |
| `'banking'` | forces an `Rs_Banking` business account per store |
| `'standalone'` | the balance lives in the `rs_playerstores` table — zero dependency, card terminal hidden |

## Roles

| Grade | Label | Permissions |
| ----- | ---------- | ------------------- |
| 0 | Employee | stock |
| 1 | Manager | stock, money |
| 2 | Co-manager | stock, money, staff |

The **owner** always has every permission. Sensitive actions — withdrawing money, issuing gift cards, setting salaries — are owner-only by default so a manager cannot drain the account.
